Wine shop and wine bar at Pasaje Amado 833, unit 5, in the center. They sell wines from wineries in Patagonia, Cuyo (Mendoza and San Juan) and northwest Argentina, plus gift boxes, craft beer, whisky, cheeses, smoked products and deli goods. If you'd rather stay, there's wine by the glass, wine tastings, cheese and charcuterie boards (with game meats) and empanadas, and a deck outside where you can sit and watch the street. Every so often they hold tastings and tapas nights, announced on their Instagram. Open Monday to Wednesday 10:30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm; Thursday to Saturday 10:30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to midnight; Sundays 11 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm. Rated 4.5 on TripAdvisor. With Calafate Pass you get 10% off when paying cash.

If you don't know what to take home, tell them what you like and ask for a taste: they'll point you in the right direction, and they carry labels from Patagonia, Cuyo and the northwest you won't see in the supermarket. Bring cash for the 10%. On Sundays they close at midday and reopen at 5 pm.
